You’d probably like to know something about my skills: I am a freelance writer, have some SEO expertize and I am an online public relations and media consultant. I used to be a military journalist, worked six years as a freelance reporter for the Romanian National Radio Station (ROR) and four years in the Public Relations Direcorate of the Romanian Ministry of Defense. Since 2002 I live in Germany.

My Personal Dna Report

1. I believe in the good in people. Despite all ups and downs (more downs, to be frank), I still believe that people are good, kind and considerate. My close friends are currently trying to find a cure for this condition.
2. I work at night, sleep in the morning and start working in the afternoon again. But this might change soon…
3. Cuba Libre and Salsa are my idea of a perfect Friday evening. Saturdays and Sundays are my “lazy days” when I watch ridiculous soap operas or read classic horror novels. Yes, Steven King! And Poe.
4. smoke cigars… because I don’t really want to smoke, but I am nervous by nature and need a distraction at least once a day. OK! You’ve got me on this one: I love the taste.
5. I don’t like to lie, but I am pretty good at it. I have even developed a “how to lie” philosophy: never say a lie if you cannot prove it! Or: don’t lie without a backup! Some call this “diplomacy”.
6. I read a lot. I live to read. I read online, offline… Heck, I even read body language and I am pretty good at it (Yes, I was trained for this during my four years at the Public Relations Directorate of the Romanian Ministry if Defense. What’s your point?)
7. I am always right. (And I hate it!) Believe me! Even when I am not right… I am right.
8. I am not modest. I just pretend to be modest. Yes I am quite straightforward. No pretense about that! Take it or leave it.
9. I have a strong life motto: “Am I not destroying my enemies when I make friends out of them?” – Abraham Lincoln. Jesus once said “turn the other cheek”. Great PR advice, trust me!
10. I am quite sarcastic by nature. That’s my charm. That’s also what makes some people consider me arrogant and narcissistic… till they know me better.
11. I was married. I left my husband because… I didn’t want to bother his… intimate life. We had a messy divorce. And we are friends now. Yes… he is one of Pamil Visions’ clients!
12. I am a very devoted friend and partner – in business or in life. This is the most important thing I’ve learned from my grandma… Speaking about…
13. I believe in my Grandma and God in the Skies and my Mother on Earth.
14. I have one role model: my father. (Freud would have something to say about this, but really… my father is amazing!)
15. My PC has a name: Arthur. Don’t ask why. Remember what I told you earlier: I read a lot!
16. I cry in the rain.
17. I don’t sing under the shower. I sing when I drive. But you don’t want to hear that!
18. I don’t like the sea because I don’t have the guts to dive and see what lies beneath the surface. But I do have the strength to go hiking and look for waterfalls in the mountains.
19. I have one friend I trust with my life: Liliana. She doesn’t know I trust her so much though. And doesn’t know how much I love her either. Don’t worry, she doesn’t read blogs! My secret is safe.
20. I am a sucker for Hugo Boss (the classic flagrance for men). I like it so much that almost any man wearing it turns me on. What do they put in that cologne?
21. I paint when I am sad. Considering the number of paintings in my home you’d probably believe I am always joyful. Have I mentioned that I give most of my paintings away? People seem to like them…
22. It took me 10 years to understand why women wear skirts… (short skirts). And these 10 years were my “jeans years”. I mean: I didn’t wear a skirt during this time. Just jeans. Now I am a woman too.
23. I love SEO, but my readers want PR. So I give them what they want and I ghostwrite about SEO for some “secret” customers. They pay me a symbolic fee… I authored some pretty popular eBooks. No, I’ll not give you a hint. Ghostwriting is fun, believe me. The pay was… not symbolic. What do you know? I am haunting the Web!
24. I like classic music, but I prefer “facile” rhythms. This leads us back to… Latino music: salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia, copla…
25. I don’t speak Spanish or Italian. But I understand them both. 100%.
