If you wondered why I was so silent the past few (OK – many) months, today’s entry might offer some answers. A few close friends already know, but most of my readers are still wondering: what happens; why is the SEO book for WordPress not updated yet; why are my posts here so seldom and so on.
Well, there are many answers to these questions, but the one that matters the most is a simple: because I am a mother now.

My son, Paul-Jules, is 9 months today – easy to see that the past nine months were heaven for me. The months before his birth were not easy at all: I had a difficult pregnancy; a time I would rather forget than discuss here or anywhere else. I just mention it because many mothers and expecting women don’t have to cut work till the last minute. I had to do it from the first months – exhaustion and stress might have ended with a tragedy. I thank God for being on my side and giving me this wonderful baby.
I will not start now a mommy blog, nor do I have the intention to broadcast my child from now on. This is a onetime announcement: I am proud to be a mom, but I will focus my online activities on professional issues rather than private.

3Hi Paul,
thank you for the compliment. As far as proofreading goes… J, I don’t know. He has to learn three languages to start with: English, Romanian and German. Do you think he can pull it?

8your kid ir so chuby, even when i had kids five years ago they kept me so busy i felt cut off from the world, but that was the experience that was worth for the pains I had to undergo. I guess this is the most beautiful period in our lives.

9@Pearl – yes, we are already train him to become a lady killer. LOL.
@Shari – I am not sure I want to do that, Shari, at least not till he learns how to speak and to decide for himself whether he wants to be broadcast or not.
@Lillie – yes, I’ve been blessed Lillie! Thank you very much for stopping by. You are one of the very few from the past who still visit me.
@Kcrystina – thank you!
@implantingideas – you are right, children are worth every moment of pain we have to undergo.

12No doubt you have been busy! Sounds like things were not good for a while there but obviously now you have your little bundle of fun. Hope you still get the time to post as much as you want to, they do take up more time than can ever be imagined but he definitely is worth it! I agree with Wilson Pon, take as much time as you can as it goes by so fast and you just can’t get it back! Congratulations on the new family you now have and on being back to your posting!

15This is a really unique but interesting name
I suppose that being a mother is a decent excuse for not keeping quite up to date with a blog!

17That’s a handsome little man. Must be very precious one.
I’m not a mom of course, because I’m a male
, but my wife is a career woman and prefer to stay that way while I can do my work from home. So, I’m the one who did the babysitting job. Now he’s 8 years old and can do things by himself, I missed the time when he still a baby, teach him to walk and to talk, that time will never come back.
So, for every seconds you can spend, spend with him. Congratulations for being a mommy.

19Susan, my son was born at 8 months, and he is perfectly fine. He was never sick – well except a minor cold and conjunctivitis at about 6 months, but nothing serious… This being sad, don’t worry about the contractions. Your baby will be fine too. Sometimes they like to hurry.
