“Secondbrain announced today – via newsletter – that the site has gone through some major changes. I suspected that the team was “cooking” something, but I never expected to see Secondbrain simplifying so much and canceling so many features I used to like before.”

I can’t wait to see what Secondbrain will offer to its customers. I hope the features are easier to use and understand.

“Secondbrain is rebuilding and reinventing itself, on a base of over 11,500 users. The service will offer only online bookmarking from now on”

Online bookmarking is a tool I really appreciate. Hope Secondbrain will come up with more innovative features.

Good critic over the new Secondbrain. I do not like it so much, actually I do not like social bookmarking so much, because of the reason that this is mostly spammy network. .-= MBlog´s last blog ..Arden with tuning version of the Mini Cooper S =-.

“Delicious bookmarks imports are no longer available either – there is however an option to export data manually from delicious and then import the file to Secondbrain.”

The interface keeps it simple and makes it easier to navigate. I also like how the font blends in with the simple colors.

Mig, I’ve been a loyal user of Second Brain since the beginning of the website. I witnessed the changes of the website, from the starting to recently! Well, like Lars mentioned on above, they have to eliminate some features away to keep innovate and growing into a better website.

Thank you for the review Mig. It is true that we had to discontinue many good features, but this is a necessary step for us in order to continue to innovate. Our previous product model was not scalable so we had to make some radical simplifications. In many ways this appears as a a one step forward and two steps back approach. But trust me, it will allow us to move ahead much faster with a more sophisticated approach to saving great web content in your Secondbrain.
