I personally believe that the utlity of Meta descriptions is in developing a high CTR (click through rate) by making your website look more appealing than your competitors. Keywords may be included naturally in your writing but they should not be forced in at the expense of readability.

I always use meta description because for yahoo optimization it works well also for google it is used in the results of SERP

I have a header.php being included to all my pages, in which I have all the meta tags along with the meta description and must find a way to vary them, thanks for the precious information which i was not
