Evil blogging advice in a book.

What do you expect to find in an evil book of blogging? Tips on how to cheat your way up to the top? How to become a John Chow or a Rob Benwell? Well, that’s exactly what this book offers… if this is the way you want to follow. But while the above mentioned entities are lucky in their endeavors, because they started their online business at the right time, with the “right” (!) tools, what makes you think you’ll be so lucky?

If you are the type of blogger (or online entrepreneur) who wants to make it “the easy way” you might as well go on following the “advice” in this ebook. On the other hand, if you are a honest individual, working hard to build credibility, value and community, do the opposite of what we advise in this ebook. The recipe is that simple.

I hate being misunderstood, so I have to tell everyone already: the ebook is a pamphlet and it should be treated as such. It’s a multi-author work – in fact a collection of blog entries that followed a meme started by myself when working for the Luxemboug based web design company Red Dog.

There were witty comments, published in the book, there were witty responses from other writers. The book publishes the responses (and some relevant comments) in the order they were published online: Yvonne Russell, Lillie Ammann, Michielle Beck (unfortunately her blog was deleted or moved), Alicia Sparks (her whole blog was deleted or moved as well), Katharine Swan, Kristen King, Liz Strauss. The book has 13 pages – content rich, featuring comments from other A-list bloggers like Deborah Petersen, Phil Butler and Joanna Young.

The ebook is published under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivative Works – which means that you cannot use it for commercial use and you cannot alter its content without permission. Note that to publish this book I have written permission from all the authors.

Without further delay, I give you “How to Be Cocky and Vexatious” – 13 pages ebook in pdf format to enjoy as Xmas reading…

May you never follow the “advice” the authors give. If you choose to follow, do not do it in our communities, we will not accept you.
