Mihaela
I agree with TDMV. The non-disabled tend to take life as granted. We should take into consideration and provide the service and the easy usage to the "challenged". We already have software programs for foreign languages, why can't we provide that extra push and set up our system for the less unfortunate. Thanks for the information.

It is not hard to fulfil the main recommendations for accessibility - anyone who builds websites should be able to do it easily. For those designers who want to get fancy and add flash or want to design sites that are not easily read by all then a bit of extra work can provide alternative style sheets.

There are various free tools online to check different accessibility areas - even bloggers who have only a little html or css knowledge can make some changes that will make their sites more accessible. I did a post on this a while ago - time to expand on it I think. Thanks for the prompt as accessibility is important to me.

We tend to take our ability to read and write for granted, and we hardly give this a second thought when we write our articles, or design our sites. It's only just we should take a good, hard look at this, and take this article into consideration. An, i might add, not only because all people have the right to access the internet but they are customers as well. And customers should be treated with repect. Thanks Mihaela
