A few days ago I asked for the help of my readers and community, and to my surprise I received more feedback than expected. 19 responses on this blog and more via email helped me build a valuable database of user feedback than any other survey I conducted. I am so grateful for this… I can hardly find the words to thank everyone!
I don’t know any other way to express my gratitude to all of those who answered to my call, than to list their names and links here, for everyone else to know that there are enough people online ready to help when needed. This is what “social media” should all be about and not only about sharing links and exchanging votes. The feedback from my friends will certainly help Fairtilizer improve their web presence and deliver a better user experience for all their visitors. So, without further delay, thank you:
I cannot add to the list the names of those who chose to reply via email due to privacy issues. Besides… the list will certainly become too big to handle. But it’s good to know that all these people are members of various social networks and they are all eWritings readers.
My partner Phil Butler often wrote about what is appropriate behavior on the Web and the response I received when I really needed my friends makes me believe that there is still hope, that the Web is a good place where you can truly find friends to count on!

1When you first posted, I saw the post, yet I kept losing my DSL signal and was unable to remain online long enough to make much sense, Mig. I’m sorry for letting you down but I gave it my best shot.
The problem is fixed now although I had been having this problem since May. Hopefully, it will not happen again too soon in the future. I have a whole new phone system, plenty of line cords and cables along with a replacement phone/dsl splitter. The actual problem was exactly what I said it was but it took that long to get it fixed. The largest obstacle involved is that I’m a female and how in the heck can I possibly know about puter stuff? The technicians, I spoke with were Phillipino men.
Ain’t that just dandy? Anyway, the problem has been solved. That’s what I have to remember.
*Hugs, Girly!*

4Dear Mig.. No need to thank me… This was the least I could do for you and you know it doesn’t even come close to the support you have been providing me all these months I’ve known you… that’s what ‘friends’ are there for, aren’t they?
loads of love

5Ma, you’ve never let me down! You’ve been there for me so many times before and you know this means a lot to me.
You are right, Theo. The world is a wonder and wonders happen every day!
Sweet Pearl, of course I have to thank you!
I know how busy you are and the fact that you took the time to help me means a lot.

6Mihaela, I’m not surprised that you got such a strong response. You’ve long ago proved to me that you are very active online, taking the time to read posts and to leave thoughtful comments.
In brief, I like the Fairtilzer design though I’m not much of a fan of pink lettering, but that’s just me. The site looks clean and crisp, something that would pique my interest if I stumbled upon it.

7Thanks to the users feedback the site will look even better in the future.
The functonality is already great… What I would like for them to do more is a customizable player - I want to be able to place it in the right column of my blog here and on every other blog I manage… The problem now is that it only comes in a standard sizes… but this is a technical detail I am sure they’ll take care of.

8This was a pretty insightful post on how you can use your web 2.0 friends to help you when you need them. This post alone triggered so many different ideas that I can use. Thanks alot for posting about this.
