Wings of faith, angel hands holding the airy heart of Hope. Every time I read about blog projects meant to make us better, more aware of the wounds of the world, I feel that the human race still has a chance to a brighter future, a future dominated by kindness, love, trust and belief, and not one emerged in the deepest poisons of our present: war, hunger, hate, racism… This is a dream, and a dream that can only be achieved through love.
Spreading the love… what an important act of humanity.
Albert Einstein once described the human being with words that remained in my heart and echo still:
„A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.“
There are many people in this world who live their lives driven by hate and pain. They often find themselves in a total impossibility of being happy, of giving love and even of receiving. In times like this I think of them. Imagine a lost soul whose wings were cut by darkness. Imagine such a human being trapped in chains of doubt and hate. These people are at the root of most of the evil that the world needs to endure. Because these people know no mercy.
Hate, greed, envy and doubt feed on all possible resources and do have the tendency to kill pure, meaningful feelings. They are at the root of the wars, the very roots of the hunger for power, the reasons behind lack of tolerance and the seeds that turn brother against brother.
When we talk about love and feel love, we know that love does not envy, does not boast. Love is kind and undemanding. Love is freedom and hope, belief!
I wish now, with this humble entry, to remind all of you that 2008 has all the chances to be the year of love. And we can spread the word, we can unite our voices into a hymn to the greatest gift God ever gave us, after life.
True love never dies. True love never lowers the knees to hate and doubt. True love is there to stay and grows with proper nourishing. Feed Love with more love, with a warm smile and a tender embrace, with an act of kindness and with faith.
This entry was inspired by my wonderful friend Pearl, who tagged me to participate in a very special meme. Read the rules below.

But if you happen to read and feel like Spreading the Love, don’t let this movement die. Write about it, share love. You’ve been unofficially tagged. In the spirit of spreading the love, I let you now in the company of an amazing young voice.

Thank you kindly for this entry.
It’s almost poetic at times: “True love never dies. True love never lowers the knees to hate and doubt. True love is there to stay and grows with proper nourishing. Feed Love with more love, with a warm smile and a tender embrace, with an act of kindness and with faith.”
Loved the video at the end too!

Nice piece of writing. I quite agree with most of the things you wrote, but I need to piont out something, there will always be hatred and wickedness until the coming of the Kingdom of God because human nature is wicked in itself.
