Yes, the site needs SEO big time. (don't tell them, they might get the idea to hire me and I really don't have time anymore - LMAO) Yet it is refreshing to see the effort.
Oh, and thank you for the warm wishes. :)

this site is certainly minimalistic....I liked the idea of the RSS link in the menu bar....and it's refreshing to see a name that doesn't tell you in the title what they are about.....I suppose that would not help SEO though as I know my site always gets the thumbsdown for its title....
happy belated birthday to you and your blog too Mihaela..... :)

Well, if you compare Braintree with most of the sites on the web, you will see that they are actually different because they take care of what they do. They actually care about their image, unlike most of the companies that put up a site with poor content, poor usability, poor quality in general (janine?)

I am with you on the "is there anything that someone else didn't put to practice" - no there isn't. But there is a VOICE. A different voice each time, like a fingerprint. You can see the difference if you watch closely.

Braintree has the most unfortunate choice of blue and orange on their site anyway, so don't look at that. But look at the effort they put in creating something of value.

Hi Mig. I guess the Be bold and be genuine are still the most important. About the be different part....well, I have to agree with a friend who misspelled my name when signing his book :D, it's tough to be different with so many others out there. The main focus should be to Be Better :)

I still am a fan on innovation, be it in technology, layout, site, message, approach. But is there really anything that someone else didn't put to practice? the logo is cool, but I've seen a lot of orange-blue combinations. Each different, each looking good, still on the same pattern. Sorry for rambling for too long :P
