No Justice for Romanians in Trier

Or… what I’ve been up to lately…

Well… (I like to start with a “well” it ads spice to the “conversation” – please note the sarcasm, but don’t take it as is. Listen to my story for a while!)

I am Romanian living in Germany.

At times (when I see that people are actually not as cold as foreigners describe them, when I meet my host and she offers me a strawberry milk shake with a warm, open smile, when her son cooks and he invites me to dine with them in the garden, when the lady who sells bread says a warm “hola” although I am not Spanish… and so on) I feel good here.

It’s home for so many reasons. But not really, not when I have to deal with the people who should be protecting my rights. Not my rights as a German citizen (for I am not) but my rights as an inhabitant… My rights as a human being. Simply: my rights.

The German prosecutors in Trier are busy people. And I happen to be one of their “victims.”

OK,”victim” is too strong. Then call me a “buried case.” That’s exactly what happened. They buried my complaint. They didn’t even bother to proof what happened. They did it to protect their own kind, or to protect their precious time. Honestly, I do not care why they did it. I just want them to reconsider and start acting according to their oath.

I told you recently I purchased to domains and I host them with Top Hosting Center – affordable and reliable (trust me on this one). These two domains are: http://www.staatsanwaltschaft-trier.de/ and mihaela-lica.com.

http://www.staatsanwaltschaft-trier.de/ is live and kicking. A press release will follow soon. But in the meanwhile, talk to me. Read it.

It’s a 6 pages site about corruption, racism and incompetence. My story. Sad, but true.

It happened in Germany. It happened in Trier.

This is what I am fighting for now: my right to justice in Germany.

I hope this gets fixed in your favor. Perhaps the German prosecutors are riding in the tournament?

  2. Mig,
I’m so sorry to hear about this injustice. I hope that you succeed in getting justice for you and other victims.

  3. Mihaela Lica says:

LOL, James. Thank you for the smile. I needed that. :)

  4. Mihaela Lica says:

    Hi Lillie,
I hope the same thing. And I have the feeling we’ll be able to have things moving into the right direction. I am really not the only one who had to suffer because of the StA Trier. And as long as we keep quiet they will continue their abuses.

  5. Hi Mig, sorry you have to go through all this. But I have a feeling it will finally get better. Simply because you deserve it!

  6. Phil Butler says:

    MIG,
Do we need to repossess those hay burners of the identity theft bimbo or do I need to come over there and John Wayne that there varmint of a legal system?

This makes me madder every day :( I am sorry you are going throuhg such trouble – you “least of all” deserve injustice. Send me the contact info for the head honcho of this here “legal” system.

    Always,
    Phil

    Hi Alina,

I see no way of solving this in Trier, because these prosecutors just wouldn’t listen. And if they don’t who says I have to keep quiet and let my head down? I understand I am a foreigner, but does this mean I have to crawl?
I don’t think so. Enough is enough.

  8. Mihaela Lica says:

    Hi Phil,

I have the feeling that nothing else but noise will really make these people listen. However, I will send you the details.

Ask the heads of the law what would have happened to a foreigner doing the same thing as Nadja did.

    I already know the answers.

On the other hand, StA Trier has a history of turning their heads the other way when foreigners living in Trier were cheated and abused.

The local media never misses any chance to put dirt on the Eastern European inhabitants, on Chinese people, Moroccans and so on. The sad part is that the foreigners who live in exile here are too afraid to lose their work permits and other rights they had to wait so long for… they’ll never speak unless we show them that there are people able to listen and support them.

I made this site, started with my story (which is peanuts compared to the other two I am still gathering information for) and I hope that this will encourage people to talk. Not only about StA Trier, but about all the injustice committed by some of the people in public service from Trier.

A guy from the Office of foreigners told me once “I am sure you are aware of the status of the Eastern European women”

    Any comments? Jesus!

  9. I’m so sorry to hear about this…never stop fighting for what you believe in!!!

    I support you!!!

    Love you!!!

    M.

  10. You’ve chosen a good medium to raise awareness… blogger power… I’m sure you’ll get some publicity locally and further afield. I hope justice is done. Take care.
