I am still trying to adjust to my new working schedule. The weekends find me exhausted but no matter what happens I cannot give up on my Salsa Friday specials. The moment I give up on those is the moment I have to admit defeat and acknowledge that… maybe… I am too old to dance (?!). Just kidding. Not going to happen. Unless the bar closes down and I have no other choice.

I lost track of time these days. My mother is here, visiting and my schedule was more than busy. I try to be a good daughter and to spend as much time as I can with her. So if I still do bad at answering your emails and comments in time, please bear with me till the end of the month and I promise I’ll do better.

In the meanwhile, let me tell you what I’ve been up to. If you don’t know it by now, Yvonne and Laura had a great idea and proposed a theme for a group writing project. It was called Shared Answers and the topics were Problems & Challenges and Solutions. The response to their project was lower than I expected, despite the fact that there was even a $30 Amazon gift certificate to win.

I cannot really believe that people are not interested in a prize. I fear that the time was too short and that people don’t find it really easy to share their problems. Anyway, this project was fun and the entries I read (from the other participants) were up to my expectations. The lack of numbers (response) is compensated by quality. My personal favorite is The Challenge of the Enemy We Call Friend. by Mommy Zabs, but this doesn’t mean that I didn’t enjoy reading the other entries.

I found some time to check into Maria’s progress with the BAAAHHH!!! show and, because I missed her birthday (girl, I will never forget myself) I promise myself I will not miss the show in Italy.

After a long-long time and work together with Yvonne, who wrote the content of the site, Michi who wrote the articles in the knowledge base, the new YouCanSubmit is online. There are still some technical difficulties with the blog, but we can safely say… we’ve got it done. Great job, girls!
