When I move next summer, it will really be the first time I have been away from my family for more than just a couple of months. It won't be easy, and I'm sure I'll miss them every day. I am very lucky, though, that I have had the opportunity to be close to them (both physically and emotionally) for the 35 years that I've been on this planet. I wouldn't trade that for anything. I read the post by Mommy Zabs and it was very powerful. I am looking forward to reading all the rest. If there is another similar project, I will most likely participate. My daughter is going back to school next week, and I expect life to become more routine again - which means more writing time, as well!
