The sun is shining, the weather is finally warm and inviting, after days and days of rains and chilli winds. It’s Sunday. The 7th day of the week. A magic day; a sacred day and a day of mystery. But for me, today is the first warm day in months. 7 months to be more precise. Coincidence? Destiny? Who knows?

7 is such a controversial number. People who like 7 are introspective, analytical and quite often inclined toward metaphysic and theology. I like 9 and I am an absolvent of theology. 7s also like to think deeply. I do to. But I’m still no 7. Isn’t that strange? Are 7 and 9 related? And why do I like 9 anyway, when it is pretty clear the 7 is stronger?

Think about it: 7 continents and 7 seas, 7 days in the week, 7 colours in the rainbow, 7 notes in the musical scale, 7 directions (up, down, left, right, back, forward and center) 7 deadly sins, heck… even 7 dwarfs! And now there is a 7 random facts meme. And I already revealed two about myself. The first is obvious. Bold, screaming at you in the second paragraph. But can you guess the second?

Yes, that’s right. I am superstitious. I believe that everything happens for a reason and I believe in the zodiac too. I believe that dreams mean something and I believe in premonitions. There’s no reason on Earth not to believe in the power to see the future. Remember: time and space are relative. Tomorrow already happened.

We see 7 planets with the naked eye. And we cannot really see their surface to know what worlds are out there, unexplored, waiting. But I know that these worlds are there. And I believe that they are inhabited. Yes, I believe in aliens, pretty much with the same power as I used to believe in fairies as a child. I want my fairies back!

There are 7 days in the week and I can go on listening to the same salsa CD, every day, hours and hours. I can read the same book 7 times and I will still find it fun and refreshing. I don’t mind seeing the same movie 7 times. It would still feel new to me. Now, I don’t have a memory problem. I just do things from a different perspective. The first time I watch a movie I pay attention to the story, the second time I’ll take a careful look at the editing, the third time I’ll find the best secondary actor and follow his/her performance… etc.

Well, here they are, enough factors about me to beat the 7 random facts idea.

This, my blogging friends was my part in the “7 Random Things” meme. , the writer and editor, who revealed a lot of her soul in her entry, tagged me. Then Martine tagged me for the same meme, with the only difference that instead of 7 things her meme requires 8 random things. I stick to my “7″ preference today.

And I will tag 7 bloggers. Today I’ll do something special, for the first time. I will tag only bloggers I do not know. Why? Because this is the purpose of this meme: to get to know people.

How do I choose these bloggers? I type “beauty” in the MyBlogLog search query.

So here they are: Aparna of Beauty and Personality Grooming, Kristen of Beauty Addict, Hazel of Beauty Hazel’s Blog (nice pictures here), Jen of Beauty Marked (what a beautiful design!), Lisa of The Beauty Café, the mysterious woman behind Beautynomics, and the ones behind BeautyLoveSpirit.

It’s really amazing what bloggers and blogs you can discover with a simple MyBlogLog search. Whether the bloggers above answer the tag and continue the meme is irrelevant. The little time I spent on their blogs was enough to convince me to become a returning visitor. These happen to be my recommendations for this weekend too. Enjoy.
