One of the most popular characters is named Laura Spencer (which is my married name). After I got married the first thing I usually heard after introducing myself was "Laura Spencer, do you mean like on General Hospital?" I actually don't watch daytime TV, but because of the name thing I sort of learned about it. If you google my name, the top results are always for the TV character. Oh well!
