UPDATE: Youcansubmit.com is now a business partner of Pamil Visions. We’ve redesigned the site and rebranded it. We changed the business plans too and the range of services. From now on, all SEO and media publishing solutions offered by YOU CAN SUBMIT are under the shield of the highest online marketing ethics.
This is exactly the kind of website I warned you against in my The Stuttering Fish…On SEO Quacks entry. This is exactly what you should never do with your website if you are serious about your SEO campaigns!
Don’t fall for their cheap search engine submission prices. You pay for what you get in this case: nothing! I don’t even remember when I last saw something like this and I cannot believe that there are still such services available online. But the SEO novice probably still falls for such crappy warranties: unlimited resubmissions (?!). Even a child knows that this is a “no-no!” Even a child knows that resubmitting your site over and over to a search engine is spamdexing! Black hat. Forbidden!
Then these guys talk about “optimal visitor accessibility.” Useless to tell you that if you try to validate the site either with the W3C validator or with the Cynthia software you’ll see only negative results. Yes, youcansubmit.com sucks. Big time! Any professional SEO will tell you that what they sell is snake oil SEO! Any professional SEO will tell you to run as fast as you can from such a service provider. These guys even try to sell you an SEO package for almost $ 1500!!! They call that optimization, (but since 1996) since five years (as they insinuate) till today they were not able to optimize their own site, they were not even able to get higher Google PR than PR2!
Guess what? The joke goes even deeper. On the very first page they show testimonials… from “satisfied clients” who, after a simple whois search, prove to be … the very owners of youcansubmit.com! Please!
UPDATE: read the comments below for Ron’s explanations.

3Sadly, it’s services like this and snake oil SEO that gives the industry a bad name. I’m glad that you were bold enough to write about it.

4Honesty is the best policy. I am sure that the owners of the site will understand that the web users got wiser and unethical businesses don’t have real chances to last long. On the other hand, the owners of the site might be inexperienced webtrepreneurs trying to make a living by selling a service they don’t fully understand. Maybe they bought software like SEO Elite, which automates search engine submissions. This worked three-four years ago. I used the software back then for my clients. But I didn’t resubmit the sites. Why resubmit if the site is already listed? Now SEO has changed. Big time.

5[...] I just found Mihaela Lica’s blog today and enjoyed this post: “You can submit? No Way!” I plan to send more people to the post in the coming months because it covers something that I think is critical. [...]

6Mihaela: Thanks for giving us a heads up on our services though your comments are very scathing as such.
1. We have not been in business since 1996 and don’t claim to be as a matter of fact our website is still in development our ranking validates that.
2. Who Is Search We do not own the website unlimitedcreditonline.com accept services provided to them which is hosting and design of their website.
3. We are not here to cheat, beat or misuse anyone from our services rendered
Our services are based primarily on submission to directories and search engines and resubmissions when needed, we do optimize ones website, but we are not claiming to be The Top SEO guru. Keeping in mind that most small businesses do not have 3,000 to 5,000.00 dollars or more for optimization of their website.( A proven Fact ) We are here to help get them started and as we grow and understand SEO and other online marketing techniques better, we will pass this information along as you have so eloquently done. As far as validation W3C, we have reviewed some of the top 300,000 websites in the world that have many more errors than we do. We will absolutely be honest with our customers and give them the best solutions possible to get them better rankings. We are currently using submission software in some cases but are finding out that this may not be the best solutions. We are business that wants to grow and be a mainstay in the market place.
We understand and appreciate your position and wish you well in your future endeavors. Have a great day Ron

7Ron, you answer shows that you are serious about your business and you try to provide a good service to your clients. But I still believe the methods you enploy are not the best and I think you should understand that the search engines do not like resubmissions. I also hope you understand that when you say
Congrats. I’m newer (just four) and yet my clients do rank on the first page of Google for their targeted keywords, and that without search engine submissions.
“The rules of search engine optimization and search engine submissions are changing all the time. Since we are the experts of web site submissions, we can keep your website exposed to all the major search engine directories and organic search engine directories for optimal visitor accessibility.”you should really ensure optimal visitor accessibility. Personally, I do not care that the top 300000 websites do not validate. When they don’t validate they don’t ensure optimal visitor accessibility. Period. I’d also like to point out that SE submissions and directory submissions alone are not what really defines SEO. My mistake for 1996. So you are in business since 5 years.

19Hey thanks Mihaela!
I’ll be looking for your article
Did you see the link on ProBlogger a few days ago for Yaro Starks free e-book on monetizing blogs? I don’t usually download e-books and (rarely buy them). However, since this one was free and since Darren Rowse recommended it, I did download this one.
I’m reading it and it has some really good suggestions. If you’re interested and you missed it let me know.

20I think I missed that, and I usually don’t miss anything Yaro does. Strange… Do send it to me, please. Maybe in an email?
