I know. It’s really not that long since I last visited Bucharest. Btw, the dog in the header of the site is a Romanian dog. Her name is Sasha and she was rescued from the streets of Bucharest by my friend Carina.

The site looks good. Although I barely understand two words, I was impressed by the pictures. The look in those dogs’ eyes seems like inviting people to take them home. Unfortunately, I cannot have a dog, because I already have a cat. Besides, I like to sleep late in the morning, so the dog would have to wait a lot until going for the first walk of the day. And as you said, we have plenty of dogs in Romania (I don’t know when you visited Bucharest last time, but now they are almost everywhere).

The site tells the story of the dogs: how they were found, how Mónica helped cure their wounds, and whether the dogs like kids or not… things like this. Mónica’s shelter is not too big. She’s got 12 dogs at home too. I know we have problems with the dogs in Romania too, and I really hope people will try to help them as Mónica tries to make a difference in Spain.

I don’t really understand the words written on the site, but it looks great Loved the photos with the dogs. I would love to adopt one some day, but at the moment, I have no time to properly take care of a dog. Homeless dogs are a really big problem in Romania. There are several initiatives to take care of them, but the issue hasn’t been solved yet. And I doubt it will b e solved soon.
