Posted by Mihaela Lica as Power Bloggers
Blogs that make us contemplate the online world through eyes of wonder.
Blogs that inspire and provoke, blogs that trigger special feelings, puzzle and give new meanings to the moments we spend in their world. Blogs that redefine seconds.
Blogs that touch our hearts with the magic power of a single word. If you have the skill to fell that word, to touch its essence, to fly on its wings.
These are the blogs of this weekend. These are Sunday blogs, because they need your time. They need you to stop your rush and behold their core. They need you to fish for pearls. So precious they are.
This weekend you can read Layla’s story. It takes strength to share a personal drama. It takes strength to go on believing in God after He takes away your child. It takes strength to be so generous and kind.
We all live a personal drama, sooner or later in life. It’s part of the game. Some of us stumble, while others gain even more power.
Lillie comes back at eWritings with her own inspirational story. A story of a woman who didn’t bend to the perils of pain and desperation.
Lisa Vella faces terror at the very dawn of May. And the way she writes about it is so smooth. She carries you through her story with a steady hand, leading you straight to Hope: her two girls. Her pride.
Isn’t it wonderful to feel the heart of someone who is so far from you? Isn’t it wonderful to know that they trust their readers enough to open their hearts and share such intimate sorrows and their boldest hopes and dreams?
With a touch of her heart she enriches the blogosphere. Her sadness runs in ripples of ambrosia, for she spilled the chalice over the amberwood. Each word is a piano note. Each verse is a symphony. Meet Melanie Faith.
Another poet: Clayton Lowe. He is airy. A Zen poet. And words are not enough…
And these are my recommendations for this weekend. Enjoy.

2Mihaela Lica,
Thank you so much for the link and the kind words! Your encouragement means so much to me - I cannot even begin to tell you! I am honored to be listed with the other blogs you recommend. I have read what they have to write and their words are powerful.
I have thought of Lillie’s story all week long - about her strength and determination, and the faith that carried her through such struggles. It makes me think of how blessed I am. Any little trifling incident I have been through cannot even be compared to Lillie’s. It cannot be compared to Layla’s story either. I watched the video she spoke of and cried. It enriched my life. There is such suffering in life, but people are amazing and strong. These women are inspiring, and they know what living is all about.
God Bless them all and God bless you to, Mig!

5@ Michael… You have a nice blog too, and wonderful paintings. But… who is Lee?
@ Lisa: I don’t compare pain, sweetie. I cannot do it… It’s not the same. Each individual feels differently. Lillie’s sufferance was of a different nature. Layla’s too… Such stories make us stronger. That’s it.
@ Steli: I’m glad to see you back, you Supercool Teacher, you!
@ Your story touched me deep. This is a kind of topic people don’t like to talk about. But you did. And I am thankful. So I should be the one saying “thank you, Layla!”
