Language Trainers is one of those really serious business websites that distinguish themselves through standardized templates, smiling faces bought from the stock photography websites, plain colors and a general dullness.
Even the logo is dry and unremarkable. A bubble and the Globe – merged, looking like copied from a cheap icon set.
No copyright declaration on the footer of the site, no privacy policy and no clear disclaimer make me wonder: should I really trust these people and provide my personal data?
The FAQ page doesn’t answer this question, but luckily we have the about page that saves the day by providing some basic information about who we are dealing with.
If we are ready to ignore the general design aspects and the absence of the above mentioned bits we could agree upon the fact that the site has a good structure and it probably serves its purpose, especially if we look at the list of clients. There we find names like GE, Ernst & Young, Coca-Cola and many others. Probably these companies sent their staff to learn Italian courses or something similar.
On the other hand, if a person with disabilities would ever try to access this site, there will be problems for the owners, as the site fails at all the accessibility tests I’ve performed during this review.
The content of the site is poor too. For a company with such high standards the total absence of any training materials is unpardonable.
