Memes…

Liz has a very interesting entry on her blog. What Do You Call a Meme that Isn’t a Meme? Curious? You know where you find the answer, don’t you? Yes, read Liz’s blog for you’ll find a gem in every word, her beautiful spirit in every line, and you’ll even feel her smile when she answers to every comment you will post! See? Liz is a dream. One of my goals? To share as much love as Liz does. To inspire people the way she does. Love you, Liz!

Now let me introduce you to a very special someone: her name is Silvia. She is close to my heart because she is a Latin spirit. She writes in English, she writes in Spanish… she writes and brings my heart home, maybe not as Alina does, but in a very special manner. On her blog you will find “ideas sin palabras creando universos” (ideas without words creating universes). This metaphor alone should reveal the beauty of her soul and determine you to click on the link above, read her blog and experience what Silvia calls “Utopia Cerebral.“ So Silvia tagged me. She wants me to write about my goals.

I like this meme. I like it because… I know a bit more about Silvia, I’ll know a bit more about those of you who, after I tag you, are going to participate. And I like it because… you are going to know me better.

”MihaelaMy goals are simple. Work related. I’d like to make Pamil Visions a recognized brand. I’d like to make Mihaela Lica a recognized brand.

And an achievable goal (I should say easier to achieve) is to finish my autobiographic novel (in Romanian) and publish it.

My dream? To make the Web a better, safer place for children. I make everything in my power to see this dream fulfilled. Right now I’m working with Suzanne Stanford of My Internet Safety Coach to develop a new website (plus identity) for her Parents Against Predators Act project. You can read something about it here. The site will be online soon; I’ll announce you when the time comes.

Well, I could ramble forever about my ideals, but how do you define perfection? So I prefer not to talk about my ideals. I let them linger there, far, among my earthy thoughts, and pray that one day I’ll have the power to transform them into achievable goals.

Well, as this was a meme, I am supposed to start tagging. And I am going to tag all of you wonderful writers who fill my heart with joy every time I visit your blogs. I am going to tag the always-ethical Lillie, the thought provoking Laura, the witty teacher Yvonne, the mistress of rhetoric Lisa, Jose who tried it himself (where are you, Jose?), and Jen the domestic goddess.
