I have recently purchased Aaron Wall’s “SEO Book” – as a matter of fact this was my Christmas present for Pamil Visions, eWritings and you, my clients. Yes, for you too, because by applying the strategies described in Aaron’s book I can work better for your websites and help your businesses become recognizable brands faster.
I didn’t have time to read the book, yet – 328 pages is a lot and you know I am pretty busy writing and blogging for you. Though I did have time to look over a few chapters and I cannot find the words to tell you how satisfied I am with my Christmas gift!
For example, the “Link Building” chapter alone is worth every cent! While most of the recommended strategies are already known, I have never found online a better-structured tutorial. (Tutorial is not the proper term for Aaron’s work, but as I told you, I cannot find the words!) The strategies recommended in this chapter could boost your website’s rankings and popularity in a very short time! (Overnight sounds too presumptuous, but it’s the right term) Aaron has managed to put together not only commonly known strategies and resources, but also valuable advice that will help any Webmaster stay away from loss-making techniques. The writing style is clear and comprehensible, the text has no useless redundancy, and explicit examples support the advice. Short and to the point, that’s Aaron’s style.
Though Aaron divulges some SEO “secrets” in his book, I don’t take back saying that most of the linking strategies are already known. What he does explain are techniques known ONLY by SEO professionals.
I’ve performed an online search to see how much content is already on the Internet for each title and subtitle in the “Link Building” chapter and I can tell you that there are no secrets, just misconceptions. How do I know this? Simple. Aaron’s ideas and explanations make sense, are logical and are sustained by provable results. Due to this book I now know more about links and linking, and will be able to correct my own errors and free myself from the misconceptions I was talking about above.
I do have some good news. I contacted Aaron in the hopes that he would allow me an interview on the importance of SEO for businesses; to which he agreed. That interview has already taken place, though it will not be published online until after the German market has benefited from it. Within the interview he doesn’t reveal “tips and tricks”, he simply gives pertinent answers to common questions. I can only tell you that the interview, although not “sensational”, is beneficial. Neither Aaron, nor I are trying to sell dreams and/or fake glory. Our purpose is to do the job right and work for our clients in a constructive manner. If there were one word to describe the content of the interview, I’d have to “truth”. You’ll see what I mean pretty soon.
Believe it or not, although he is very young (29), Aaron has rightfully won the “Guru” appellative and, in my opinion from talking with him, from reading fragments of his book, he also has a place in Public Relations. In the meantime, visit Aaron’s SEO blog and learn from one of the most skilled SEOs out there.
And by the way… buy the book!
